The River Drive-In Movie Theater Is Coming Soon!
We are so excited to be opening a two-screen, year-round drive-in movie theater alongside the beautiful Connecticut River for our patrons and our community. It will be located in the parking lot at the office building right next to River: A Waterfront Restaurant & Bar.
Our first season is scheduled to begin this fall.
River: A Waterfront Restaurant & Bar offers indoor and patio dining, and Tequila Rio offers outside dining and live music – all with delicious food and stunning waterfront views! Now, we’re adding another outside adventure to the fun, and it’s an exciting time for all of us.
Dinner and a movie in one location is THE PERFECT date night!

We will air first-run movies on our back-to-back 60-foot screens. Besides feature films, we will also show classics and themed films for Halloween, Christmas and more.
All you need is an FM radio frequency to hear the movie, but there will be outside speakers as well. Each side of the screens can fit approximately 150-200 parked cars, so there is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your night comfortably – and still have a great view!
There will be a large rest-room trailer on site, and a concession stand which will offer everything you expect to eat during a movie (but better since it’s prepared by our personal chefs):
